1. BRIDGE OVER RIVER KWAI

Most people probably best know "The Bridge on the River Kwai" from the film of the same name, which was made all the way back in 1957.
It is estimated that up to 13,000 prisoners of war and 100,000 civilians died from the hardships they endured during the forced labor in the construction of the Burma Railway.
The actual bridge is located at a place called Tha Ma Kham, just over 5 kilometers from the town of Kanchanaburi. Read more »

2. HUA HIN RAILWAY STATION

In Hua Hin city (near the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course), you will find Hua Hin's landmark, considered one of Thailand's most beautiful railway stations, with exceptional architecture, especially in the royal waiting pavilion. Read more »

3. KHAO LUANG CAVES

Another popular Hua Hin attraction is located in the nearby town of Phetchaburi, where you will find the Khao Luang caves with over 170 Buddha statues, some of which are extremely large.

Two openings in the "ceiling" of the main cave allow sunlight to shine through, illuminating the cave and providing the opportunity for truly stunning Insta-moments for amateur photographers.
The Khao Luang Caves are only about 5 km north of the center of Petchaburi town.

4. PA LA-U WATERFALL

This is the most famous waterfall in Hua Hin. A waterfall with a total of 15 levels, each unique and beautiful in its own way.

Please note that during the rainy season, access to certain levels may be closed due to the volume of water, which can make regular access difficult.
Pala-U is not far from the Burmese border, approximately 60 km west of Hua Hin, and is located at the southern end of Kaeng Krachan National Park, Thailand's largest national park. If you're not a Thai citizen, you may need to pay an entrance fee of around 200 Baht.
