Khao Hin Lek Fai
Khao Hin Lek Fai offers a stunning view of Hua Hin town.
The six different viewing platforms at Khao Hin Lek Fei give you a great opportunity to experience the Hua Hin "from above" and it is preferable to visit the place in the early morning when the sun rises on the horizon over the Thai bay. An absolutely breathtaking sight to see Hua Hin from a height of 160 meters, just 3 km outside the city center!
If you do not have the opportunity to visit Khao Hin Lek Fai in the morning, it is certainly worth the trip anyway. The view is amazing, at all times of the day ..
Hua Hin Viewpoint - Khao Hin Lek Fai
The classic Hua Hin city sign welcomes you on top of Khao Hin Lek Fai ..
From the top of Khao Hin Lek Fai you have a pretty good overview of the whole city. When you look left, you can in clear weather, look all the way to the large international hotels located on the northern outskirts of Hua Hin, and looking to the right you can look down at Khao Takiab (Abbey Mountain) located on the southern part of the coastline.
In addition to watching the city, you can also enjoy the beautiful view of the Gulf of Thailand, and perhaps even spot a couple of Thai warships guarding the ocean off the royal family palace of the Klai Kang Won Palace. Klai Kang Won is located by the beach on the northern edge of the city and it is not rare for the royal family to stay here.

Just after the entrance gate there is a small kiosk located where you can find souveniers and drinks ..
The first viewing platform is approx. 350 m from the parking lot at the main entrance, but to get the very best view you should continue on to at least the 5th viewpoint.
The trip is not particularly strenuous for normal walking people, but if you want some supplies to cope with the heat then soda and water can be bought in the small shop that is located just after the entrance gate.
Location: You will find the transtation on the western side of the Damnoen Kasam Road and it is easily reachable by foot only a couple of minutes from the city centre.
